11 years ago on May 4th was our first date.
To celebrate... a Ruth's Chris filet medium RARE on a 500 degree plate of butter. To top it off creme brulee for me and a huge chocolate molten lava cake for John. 11 years ago we shared a pitcher of beer at the Portland Brewery. At that time, I had no idea how blessed I was going to be to have such a wonderful husband and friend walk beside me. "hiking boots and all".
