Well I got back on the horse. Friday was my first full day "back" in surgery. I assisted in 4.5 surgeries. I started out with a preceptor for the first two surgeries and then on my own. It was a specialty and a Surgeon I was comfortable with - genitourinary surgery. On probation, I work 7-3:30M-F. The 8 hr day flew by, got 30 min for lunch. I have never worked so hard, but it is so rewarding and exciting. Lovin' it so far! I'll try to share my experiences the best I can without violating my oath.
